Role Overview

We are seeking an Inflatable Product Design Specialist with proven expertise in the design, development, and prototyping of inflatable systems and components. The role focuses on creating innovative, reliable, and high-performance inflatable products — from concept through production — with close collaboration across R&D, materials, and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop inflatable systems and structures, ensuring functionality, durability, and manufacturability.
• Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks / AutoCAD / CATIA).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, materials, production, quality) to ensure design intent and performance goals are met.
• Conduct material selection, seam and joint design, and pressure/load validation for inflatable components.
• Support prototyping, testing, and design iterations based on real-world performance feedback.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety, performance, and quality standards.
• Maintain thorough technical documentation, including design reports, drawings, and design change records.

Desired Profile

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 2–6 years in inflatable product design and development (such as inflatable structures, boats, shelters, airbags, bladders, or defense-related inflatable systems).
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
• In-depth knowledge of inflatable materials, fabrication methods (e.g., RF welding, heat sealing, TPU/Neoprene coating), and pressure containment design.
• Understanding of structural behavior of inflatables, air flow, and pressure regulation systems.
• Soft Skills: Innovative thinker, hands-on problem solver, and effective team collaborator.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
