Mechanical Design Engineer

As an Engineer- Design with 2 to 5 years of experience, your role will involve being a part of a new department aimed at bringing previously outsourced work in-house. You will work on in-house projects from inception to implementation, ranging from semi-automated systems to fully leak testing units. Your responsibilities will include developing the company's design standards, identifying opportunities for optimization, and updating relevant documentation for assigned projects. Collaboration with team members to ensure projects meet specified requirements within the defined schedule is crucial. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and detailing components and systems for "Made in India" machines used for industrial production - Evaluating design concepts through soft and experimental validations - Creating design concepts, performing calculations, and generating 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and layout drawings - Developing technical documentation and service/ maintenance standards - Ensuring accuracy and completeness in tasks performed - Maintaining customer satisfaction through direct communication and feedback mechanisms - Staying focused on results amidst distractions and competing demands - Proficiency with development software like SolidWorks, E-Plan, and P&ID - Testing and verifying PLC Automation for proper machine operation - Assisting in design reviews to identify non-conformance and proposing corrective measures Preferred candidates for this role should have: - Qualification: B.E / Diploma in Mechanical - Experience: 2-3 years in Machine Design / New Product Development (NPD) - Graduate mechanical engineer with experience in machine design and development of industrial automation products - Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively on technical matters - Proficiency in manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, part lists, and basic engineering calculations - Specific experience in designing medium to large size special purpose machines with a good understanding of mechanisms and component integration This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the establishment of a new department and play a key role in the design and development of innovative industrial automation solutions.,
