Profile: Assistant Engineer – NPD (New Product Development)

Experience:

Qualification:

Salary:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop
3D models and assemblies
for new product development using CAD tools
Prepare
2D drawings and layouts
in
AutoCAD
Support the
NPD lifecycle
from concept design to production release
Coordinate with manufacturing, tooling, and quality teams for design feasibility
Implement design changes based on testing, feedback, and production requirements
Maintain design documentation, BOMs, and revision control

Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in
3D CAD design
(SolidWorks / Creo / similar)
Hands-on experience with
AutoCAD
Good understanding of
mechanical design principles
, materials, and manufacturing processes
Experience working in
New Product Development (NPD)
environments
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

Preferred Skills (Optional):

Exposure to sheet metal / plastic / machined components
Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up
Experience in prototype development and testing
