Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design of test fixtures, and assemblies.
Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and assemblies using SolidWorks in compliance with GD&T standards.
Apply strong understanding of plastic injection molding processes to ensure part manufacturability and quality.
Lead DFM/DFT (Design for Manufacturability/Testability) reviews with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
Conduct and support FAI (First Article Inspections), tolerance stack- up analysis, and root cause investigation of mechanical issues.
Support supplier engagement, including part reviews, tool design feedback, and mold validation activities.

Maintain and organize engineering documentation, including BOMs, 2D drawings, ECOs, and DHF and DMR content

Preferred candidate profile
