Mechanical Design Engineer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support 3D modeling, prototyping, and product development at Latrics India Pvt Ltd. You will work hands-on with tools like Fusion 360 and SolidWorks to design housings, mechanical parts, and components for drone and embedded systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design 3D mechanical parts and assemblies using Fusion 360 and/or SolidWorks.
• Create technical drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing-ready designs.
• Should know FEM or structural analysis, optimization of design as per structural requirements.
• Operate and manage 3D printers for prototyping and functional parts.
• Post-process 3D prints - including finishing, sanding, fitting, and basic testing.
• Collaborate with electronics and integration teams for part compatibility.
• Contribute to iterative product development and rapid prototyping cycles.
• Maintain organized design files, version control, and documentation.
• Research and select appropriate mechanical components/materials.
• Ensure designs are efficient, durable, and optimized for manufacturing.

Bonus (Nice to Have):

• Experience with FEM or structural analysis tools.
• Exposure to metal/plastic fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of drone or robotics hardware.
• Ability to design for 3D printing constraints.
• Basic understanding of tolerances, interference fits, and mounting.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
