Designation: Mechanical Engineer (Product Design - Automotive BU)

Location:

Experience: 3 To 4 Years

Mechanical Design & Development:
Enclosures, housings, brackets, heat sinks, gaskets
CAD Tools: SolidWorks
(3D Modeling & 2D Drafting)
Engineering Analysis:
Tolerance Stack-Up, GD&T, DFMEA, DFM/DFA/DFS
Materials & Manufacturing:
Injection molding, Die-casting, Sheet metal, Rubber molding
Simulation & Validation:
Structural/thermal analysis, DVP, DFMEA
Automotive Standards: IP rating, vibration, EMC compliance
Processes/Tools:
PLM/ERP, APQP, PPAP cycles
Testing Support
: Environmental & durability (thermal, vibration, ingress protection)

Key Responsibilities

Design & validate mechanical parts for automotive electronics
(ECUs, Infotainment, Displays, Telematics, Cameras).
Ensure packaging feasibility & compliance with automotive standards.
Execute DFMEA, DVP, tolerance analysis, design reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for design optimization & manufacturability.
Support prototyping, testing, and failure analysis.
Manage BOMs, revisions, and design releases across project phases.
Drive cost-effective, sustainable design solutions for mass production.
