Role Summary:

As a Junior Design Engineer, you will assist in the design, drafting, and development

of mechanical systems, particularly conveyor systems used in warehouse automation.

This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate or early-career professional eager

to learn and grow in the field of mechanical design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design of conveyor systems and related mechanical components

under the guidance of senior engineers

• Create and update 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software

(SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.)

• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, and part details for

manufacturing

• Assist in reviewing customer requirements and translating them into

engineering designs

• Coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure design accuracy

and manufacturability

• Maintain and organize design documentation and revision history
• Participate in design reviews and technical meetings
• Follow design and safety standards in accordance with company and industry

guidelines

Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in mechanical design (internship/project experience in

conveyors or material handling is a plus)

• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor)
• Basic understanding of mechanical components, sheet metal design, and

fabrication processes

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to conveyor systems, automation, or material handling equipment
• Familiarity with GD&T and basic engineering calculations
• Understanding of design documentation and ISO standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
