Mechanical BIM Coordinator (Remote)

Mechanical BIM Coordinator

• Develop, review, and coordinate

  Mechanical BIM models

  using Revit for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Perform

  clash detection and coordination

  with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines
• Lead and participate in

  BIM coordination meetings

  with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Prepare and manage

  shop drawings, coordinated models, and construction documents

• Ensure compliance with U.S. standards, project specifications, and BIM execution plans (BEP)

• Implement BIM best practices, standards, and workflows across projects

• Review consultant and subcontractor models for quality, accuracy, and constructability

• Support project teams during construction with model updates and issue resolution

• Maintain proper documentation, version control, and model audits

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum

  5 years of experience

  in Mechanical BIM coordination
• Strong proficiency in

  Autodesk Revit (Mechanical)

• Hands-on experience with Navisworks Manage

  for clash detection
• Sound knowledge of

  HVAC systems, piping layouts, and building services

• Experience working on U.S.-based projects

  and understanding of U.S. codes is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a remote, virtual office environment
• Strong communication and coordination skills
