About the Role:
We are seeking a highly versatile and technically adept Mechanical Assembly Generalist to join our team. This role is for a hands-on expert who thrives on complexity, capable of moving seamlessly between precision assemblies for robotics, high-throughput processes for automobile lines, and detailed work for electronic products. If you can build a gantry system one day and troubleshoot a ball screw mechanism the next, we want to talk to you. You will be instrumental in assembling, testing, and ensuring the quality of our most critical mechanical systems.Key Responsibilities:
Complex Assembly:
Assemble, integrate, and calibrate complex mechanical, electromechanical, and pneumatic systems or subassemblies based on engineering specifications and 3D models.Precision Systems:
Expertly work with and align linear guide/gantries ways, lead screws, and ball screw systems to achieve high-precision motion control.Industry Breadth:
Execute assembly tasks across various product lines, including robotics, specialized automobile assembly lines, and detailed electronic product assembly.Quality Assurance:
Utilize sophisticated measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauge blocks) to verify parts and assemblies adhere to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) requirements.Documentation & diagnostics:
Perform necessary mechanical troubleshooting, diagnosis, and meticulous rework to correct deviations, maintaining accurate assembly records.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics; or minimum 2 years of work experience in medical robotic assembly.Experience:
2-5 years of progressive experience in high-precision mechanical assembly or fabrication, demonstrating a broad skillset (experience in robotics/automated systems is highly preferred).Technical Drawing Fluency:
Must be highly proficient in reading and interpreting complex mechanical drawings, schematics, and 3D assembly models, with a strong, practical knowledge of GD&T (is a must).Proven hands-on experience working with and installing lead screws, ball screw systems, and linear guide/gantry is a plus.Versatility:
Demonstrated ability to adapt assembly techniques to different manufacturing environments.Tool Expertise:
Mastery of common and specialized hand/power tools, measurement equipment, and precision alignment techniques.Soft Skills:
Exceptional problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and a committed team player attitude.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen).Basic electrical wiring and soldering skills for electromechanical integration is a plus.What We Offer:
