Job Description


Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Mechanical and Electrical Engineer (MEP) to design, coordinate, and provide technical support for the MEP systems of building or infrastructure projects. This role requires providing professional MEP solutions throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring efficient, safe, and reliable system design while meeting client and industry standards.


Main Responsibilities


I. MEP System Design


Responsible for the design and drawing of MEP systems (electrical, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems) for building projects.


Prepare design specifications, construction drawings, and related technical documents.


Participate in the initial project review, providing feasibility analysis and optimization suggestions.


II. Project Construction and Coordination


Provide technical support during the construction phase, guiding on-site installation and construction.


Coordinate with civil engineering, structural, architectural, and other professional teams to ensure the MEP systems are consistent with the overall project design.


Review construction plans and material lists to ensure compliance with technical standards and budget requirements.


III. Technical Management and Optimization


Participate in project budget preparation, cost control, and bid quoting.


Perform performance analysis on electromechanical systems and propose improvement and energy-saving optimization solutions.


Track project progress and ensure timely completion of key milestones.


IV. Specifications and Standards


Be familiar with and comply with national and industry electromechanical design specifications and safety standards.


Pay attention to new technologies, new materials, and best practices in the electromechanical field to continuously improve design capabilities.


Job Requirements


Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.


5+ years of experience in electromechanical design/construction of building or infrastructure projects.


Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux, EPLAN, or similar electromechanical design software.


Familiar with electromechanical system construction specifications and safety standards, and possess on-site coordination experience.


Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills.


English or Spanish proficiency is preferred (depending on project internationalization requirements).
