MBA- Marketing Trainee

Job Title: Marketing TraineeLocation: NIARC, Peruvattur, Koyilandy, Kozhikode

Reports To: Administrative Officer / Programme Coordinator

Duration: Internship / Trainee (Initial period of 6 months – extendable based on performance)

About the Role:

The Marketing Trainee will play a key role in supporting NIARC’s social enterprise initiatives — the Mothers Empowerment Programme (NEST) and Crafted by Gifted, our student empowerment programme. The trainee will assist in branding, promotions, and outreach activities aimed at building awareness, driving engagement, and ensuring the sustainability of these empowerment initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns for NIARC’s empowerment programmes.
• Support branding and promotional activities for “Crafted by Gifted” and Mothers Empowerment (NEST) products and events.
• Coordinate with creative teams to develop marketing materials such as posters, brochures, and digital content.
• Help manage social media platforms — drafting posts, creating stories, tracking engagement, and responding to inquiries.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities, partnerships, and community outreach possibilities.
• Assist in organizing exhibitions, sales events, and awareness programmes to showcase the products made by mothers and students.
• Maintain marketing data, reports, and documentation related to promotional activities.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination between production, marketing, and sales.
• Provide regular updates and insights on marketing performance and community response.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s degree (or pursuing final year) in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and passion for social impact and empowerment-based programmes.
• Basic knowledge of social media marketing tools and digital trends.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, community-oriented environment.
