Role & responsibilities

Instruction and planning:
Develop and implement personalized lesson plans to address individual student needs, breaking down complex concepts into manageable parts.
Student support:
Assist students with homework, provide targeted teaching to improve performance, and help them prepare for tests and exams.
Assessment and feedback:
Evaluate students' strengths and weaknesses, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
Adaptation:
Adapt teaching methods and strategies to accommodate different learning styles and ensure continual improvement.
Environment:
Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and academic growth.
Record keeping:
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, including attendance, progress, and areas of focus.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with teachers or faculty to stay informed about curriculum and student learning objectives.

Qualifications and skills

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field is often required.
Knowledge:
A strong understanding of mathematical concepts is essential, with knowledge extending from foundational topics to more advanced levels depending on the student.
Experience:
Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a significant advantage.
Communication:

Technical skills:
