Mathematics Teacher

As a PRT Maths teacher at our primary school in Faridabad, your role involves delivering engaging and age-appropriate computer education to primary students (Grades IV). Your aim is to foster foundational digital skills, promote responsible use of technology, and generate interest in computer science among young learners. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum and digital literacy standards. - Introduce students to basic computer operations, software applications (MS Office, Paint, etc.), internet usage, and keyboarding skills. - Utilize creative teaching methods such as games, activities, and interactive tools to enhance the learning experience. - Regularly assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records. - Advocate responsible digital citizenship, online safety, and appropriate technology usage. - Collaborate with fellow teachers to incorporate technology into cross-curricular learning activities. - Assist in organizing or supporting school IT-related events like exhibitions, coding week, or tech competitions. - Provide additional support to students requiring individual attention. - Ensure the maintenance of computer lab equipment and promptly report any issues for timely resolution. - Attend staff meetings, training programs, and parent-teacher meetings as necessary. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field. - Certification in Computer Education or equivalent experience. - Proficiency in using educational technology tools. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Prior experience in teaching primary students will be an advantage.
