Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining an established team of world-class supply chain professionals who manage inventory investments to support customer needs and exceed delivery expectations. The team is responsible for managing inventory investments, demand & supply planning globally to ensure the right part is in the right place at the right time. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain optimal levels of service inventory to meet customer demand throughout the life cycle of each product utilizing demand planning software - Source & deploy additional products to replenish inventory in a timely manner - Proactively identify potential inventory shortages and place and expedite orders to mitigate risk - Perform root cause analysis for situations where inventory was not available - Demonstrate a high level of customer service ethic - Partner with Customer Delivery Management team to support escalations - Make decisions on the purchase and movement of inventory with a strong consideration of cost and adhering to budget targets - Effectively collaborate with global stakeholders - Participate in projects & initiatives as required Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of Service Supply Chain experience within a multi-national company - BS / MS degree or equivalent - Proven ability to handle multiple, high-importance priorities simultaneously - Practical knowledge of relevant supply chain tools will be viewed favorably, such as PTC Servigistics (SPM) & Oracle Additional Details: "WeAreCisco" where every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives together to pursue the purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.
