Materials Manager

As a member of the Woodbridge Foam Private Ltd. team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the planning and implementation of the plant's production to ensure timely delivery to customers and efficient scheduling. Your responsibilities will also include managing the materials department, overseeing inventory levels, raw material purchases, and freight costs. Your focus will be on ensuring WPS compliance and optimizing plant operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage plant operations under the priorities of HS&E, WPS, Customer Satisfaction, Productivity, and Profitability. - Coordinate the materials function, including level scheduling of production and maintaining optimal inventory levels through Lean inventory management. - Oversee warehousing, shipping, and receiving activities in alignment with WPS methodology. - Analyze customer releases and plant capacity, perform MRP, and generate vendor releases. - Optimize freight costs and manage AS400 information in liaison with the I.T. department. - Ensure prudent management of the departmental budget, including budget preparation and cost control. - Contribute to planning, budgeting, and implementing the Woodbridge Production System. - Take a lead role in the safety leadership program, health & safety, and quality audit process. - Implement safe work practices to maintain a secure working environment. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, or materials management. - 10-12 years of progressive experience in Materials Management or related functions, with a combination of education and practical experience.,
