Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled

Material QC Engineer

with hands-on experience in

Quality Control of materials

related to

Civil Nuclear, Defence, and Aerospace projects

. The role involves close coordination with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure adherence to strict quality standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform
inspection and quality checks
of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished components as per project specifications.
Witness material testing
at vendor mills, third-party labs, and client locations.
Review and verify
Material Test Certificates (MTCs), Mill Certificates, and Quality Records
.
Ensure compliance with
ASME, ASTM, EN, and Defence/Nuclear standards
.
Collaborate with suppliers and clients to resolve quality issues and ensure timely closure of NCRs.
Prepare
inspection reports, QC documentation, and records
as per project requirements.
Support audits and client inspections as required.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of
Metallurgy
and material science.
Hands-on experience in QC of materials for
Nuclear, Defence, and Aerospace projects
.
Ability to interpret
engineering drawings, material codes, and international standards
.
Strong communication and client-handling skills.
Knowledge of
ISO/AS/Defence/Nuclear quality systems
is desirable.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s Degree / Diploma in
Metallurgy / Mechanical
NDT Level II certification preferred (RT, UT, MT, PT).
