Material Handler

As a Material Handling professional at Kia India, your role involves efficiently managing materials and components throughout the supply chain. You will be responsible for receiving incoming materials, organizing them for production lines, and ensuring timely supply to different departments as per the production schedule. Collaboration with various teams is essential to optimize material flow, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold safety and quality standards. Conducting regular audits, managing inventory levels, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives are also key aspects of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials following established procedures. - Manage inventory levels and coordinate material supply to production lines. - Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules. - Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment. - Maintain accurate documentation of materials received and supplied. - Collaborate with production and logistics teams to resolve material shortages or discrepancies. - Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts for inventory accuracy. - Assist in implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives related to material handling.
