As a Marketing Manager Academic at Cambridge University Press & Assessment, you will play a pivotal role in devising and implementing strategies to enhance the brand presence and visibility of Cambridge Academic in the South Asia region. Your responsibilities will include: Role Overview: - Devise a comprehensive ROI-driven customer-centric Marketing Strategy for South Asia to support both Print and Digital Sales / Trade, including journals, and Channel Partners and Institutional Customers / End-Users. - Manage Academic Marketing Budget and liaise with Finance for timely invoicing. - Support Sales teams in achieving respective budget targets for Print Books, e-Books, and Journals. - Ensure timely and adequate production of marketing literature/collateral such as catalogs, flyers, and giveaways. - Participate in relevant events, conferences, book fairs, and exhibitions for brand promotions. - Follow and comply with GDPR guidelines in the collection, storage, and usage of data. Key Responsibilities: - Engage existing and prospective institutional customers at End-User and CXO levels to foster long-lasting relationships. - Organize end-user awareness workshops at institutions to drive the usage of journals with a targeted growth of 25%. - Conduct customer engagement workshops for End-Users at key institutional customers to promote online books and journals with a targeted usage growth of 30%. - Build communities for researchers, librarians, VCs, and engage authors. - Devise a comprehensive Digital and Social Media Marketing road-map for Academic Business. - Create rich, meaningful, engaging, and interactive content from customers, authors, and librarians for content marketing. - Expand the social media community on Facebook and Twitter; enhance engagement. - Drive E-mail Marketing covering Cambridge's entire Product Portfolio. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in developing marketing strategies for academic publications. - Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce promotions. - Ability to engage with customers at various levels and build lasting relationships. - Experience in team management, goal setting, and professional development. - Familiarity with GDPR guidelines for data collection and usage.
