Job Title: Marketing Leader Brand & India Geography

Experience:

Role Overview

We are looking for a senior marketing leader who brings deep India Geo understanding and hands-on experience in ABM programs across BFSI, Manufacturing, PSU/Government, and other regulated sectors. The ideal candidate combines data-driven decision-making, strong storytelling skills, and a sharp grasp of brand messaging to build differentiated India-focused campaigns that strengthen Newgens market leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. India Geography Strategy & Ecosystem Insight

  • Lead India-focused marketing strategy rooted in insights about enterprise buying cycles, regulatory drivers, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscape.
  • Tailor narratives and programs for BFSI, Insurance, NBFC, Manufacturing, and PSU/Government audiences.
  • Translate India market signals into actionable campaign and content strategies.

2. Hands-on ABM & Sector-led Demand Programs

  • Design and run 1:1 and 1:few ABM programs for top banks, insurers, NBFCs, PSU enterprises, and manufacturing accounts.
  • Create custom journeys, exec alignment tracks, and sector narratives.
  • Partner closely with sales to define account-level goals, influence pipeline, and measure ABM ROI using data-driven frameworks.

3. Brand Leadership, Messaging & Storytelling

  • Own the India brand message, ensuring alignment with global positioning while reflecting regional nuances.
  • Craft compelling stories, narratives, and value propositions for campaigns, events, and executive platforms.
  • Elevate Newgen’s leadership in ECM and platform automation through impactful communication across mediums (films, social, PR, keynotes, digital campaigns).

4. Integrated Marketing Execution

  • Lead India field marketing, national campaigns, CXO roundtables, industry events, digital programs, and thought leadership.
  • Drive omnichannel campaign execution, paid, owned, and earned ensuring consistency in brand expression and message clarity.
  • Manage agencies and internal teams to deliver high-quality output.

5. Data-Driven Marketing & Performance Measurement

  • Use marketing analytics, funnel data, and campaign insights to shape decisions and optimise performance.
  • Build reports that highlight campaign impact, ABM influence, and brand lift.
  • Apply a data-first approach to testing, segmentation, targeting, and personalization across touchpoints.

6. Cross-Functional & Team Leadership

  • Collaborate with sales, product marketing, digital, customer marketing, and alliances teams for integrated execution.
  • Lead and develop junior marketers (direct/matrix).
  • Manage marketing budgets efficiently.

Required Experience & Skills

Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in B2B enterprise technology marketing with strong India geography focus.
  • Demonstrated hands-on ABM execution for BFSI, NBFC, Insurance, PSU/Govt, and Manufacturing sectors.
  • Experience with integrated marketing, brand programs, and field marketing in India.

Skills

  • Strong storytelling ability can turn complex technical concepts into simple, compelling narratives.
  • Mastery of brand messaging, positioning, and value articulation.
  • Highly data-oriented with strong command of marketing metrics, dashboards, funnel analytics, and ROI measurement.
  • Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder alignment, and agency management.
  • Strong project management and execution rigor.

Good-to-Have

  • Experience in enterprise SaaS/platform marketing.
  • Understanding of India government procurement cycles.
  • Experience running national-level brand or transformation campaigns.
