About Artisaga

Artisaga is a B2B wholesale design and sourcing platform that enables retailers globally to source ethically made Handicraft and Handloom products from artisans of India.

Our platform enables retailers to connect with Indian artisans to “design and source directly”. We enable Indian artisans to sell wholesale in the International market.

About the role

We are looking for a marketing leader to showcase Indian craftsmanship to the world. The candidate is required to support in building end-to-end marketing strategy to acquire customers in a global setting. You will need to deeply immerse in the wholesale ecosystem to identify and digitally connect with buying team of retailers, store owners and showcase them Indian artisans products. On the other end, you will need to engage with artisans to provide them with trends and data on future requirements set up by retailers.

You will be working closely with the Founder, Nidhi Mantri to lead the marketing initiative with the following activities :

• Identify and collect data of retailers, stores in the UK, Australia, Japan, UAE and Canada market that source Indian craftsmanship products.
• Build email marketing strategy to the identified potential customers.
• Understand the sourcing need of the retailers and stores, and showcase products from Artisaga in the form of catalogue.
• Set up follow up emails and calls for end-to-end acquiring of identified potential customers. Identify potential trade shows (online and offline) to showcase Artisaga. 

This is a full-time 3 months internship opportunity which could lead to full-time employment depending upon the performance of the candidate. We are looking for someone who is passionate about taking Indian craftsmanship to the global market and building a start-up.

Qualification

• M.B.A (International marketing) student from reputed universities.
• Fresh graduates with experience of 0-1 year in International marketing.
• Preference will be given to candidate with previous experience in B2B marketing internship/ job.

Location

Preference will be given to candidate from Mumbai & Suburbs.

(Candidate will have to relocate to Mumbai to take this opportunity) Stipend + Commission on each successfully acquired new customers.
