Job Description

Role & responsibilities

The Head of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, footfall, customer acquisition, and revenue growth across all retail channels. This role leads brand positioning, campaign planning, digital initiatives, and in-store marketing while aligning with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

Develop and implement short-term and long-term marketing strategies aligned with business goals.

Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, agencies, and external partners.

Own the annual marketing calendar and budget planning.

Coordinate closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Merchandising teams.

Brand & Communication

Build and maintain a strong brand identity across all customer touchpoints.

Oversee ATL, BTL, and digital marketing campaigns.

Ensure consistent brand messaging across online, offline, and in-store communications.

Retail & In-Store Marketing

Plan and execute in-store promotions, visual merchandising support, and seasonal campaigns.

Drive footfall growth through localized store marketing initiatives.

Collaborate with store teams to ensure effective campaign execution.

Digital & Performance Marketing

Lead digital marketing efforts including social media, SEO/SEM, email, WhatsApp, and influencer marketing.

Monitor performance marketing metrics such as CAC, ROI, conversions, and engagement.

Optimize customer acquisition and retention strategies using data insights.

Customer Insights & CRM

Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and competitor activity.

Drive loyalty programs, CRM initiatives, and personalized marketing campaigns.

Use data analytics to improve customer experience and lifetime value.

Campaign Management & Analytics

Track and measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.

Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.

Continuously optimize marketing spend and strategies based on performance.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of retail marketing dynamics and consumer behavior.

Expertise in digital marketing, branding, and campaign management.

Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.

Leadership and people management skills.
