Role Overview:
The E-commerce Executive will be responsible for managing online product listings, inventory, order processing, and promotional activities across various e-commerce platforms (brand website, marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, etc.). This role requires a mix of operational efficiency, attention to detail, and a data-driven mindset to support growth in online sales.
Key Responsibilities:Product Listings & Content
Create, update, and optimize product listings on the company website and third-party marketplaces.
Coordinate with the content/design team to ensure high-quality images, descriptions, and SEO-friendly copy.
Monitor and update pricing, offers, and stock availability in real-time.
Platform Management
Manage day-to-day operations on e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.
Monitor platform compliance, penalties, and SLA adherence.
Coordinate with marketplace account managers when needed.
Order & Inventory Management
Process orders, track shipments, and ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
Monitor returns, cancellations, and coordinate with customer service and warehouse teams.
Maintain accurate stock records and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Sales Analysis & Reporting
Track daily sales, traffic, and performance of online platforms.
Generate and analyze weekly/monthly reports on sales, conversion rates, and product performance.
Assist in forecasting demand and planning inventory accordingly.
Marketing & Promotions
Coordinate with the marketing team to execute campaigns, offers, and deals across platforms.
Set up and track promotional campaigns such as discounts, coupons, and deals.
Analyze performance of campaigns and suggest improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or related field.
1–3 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce or online retail operations.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.
Strong Excel skills and ability to work with data and reporting tools.
Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with product listing optimization and basic SEO.
Knowledge of digital marketing tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads, or Amazon Ads, ATL,BTL .
Basic understanding of supply chain and logistics in e-commerce.
Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
