Job Description

A field sales executive is responsible for driving sales by directly interacting with customers, which involves identifying leads, presenting products/services, negotiating deals, and closing sales within a designated territory. Key duties include building customer relationships, achieving sales targets, performing market research, and managing customer accounts through in-person meetings and occasional travel.  Core responsibilities Sales and client management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, identify potential leads, and close deals to meet sales targets. Customer interaction: Meet with clients in person, present and demonstrate products or services, and conduct follow-up activities. Market analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, monitor competitor activities, and stay informed about industry trends. Reporting and administration: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and sales activity; provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management. Promotional activities: Participate in trade shows, industry events, and promotional activities to increase brand visibility and generate leads. Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations) to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products or services.  Required skills and qualifications Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong time management and organizational skills. Proven track record of achieving sales targets. Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory. Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales software. A bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or a related field is often preferred, along with previous sales experience.
