Job Description

The Media Analytics Manager at GDI&A will be responsible for leading the media analytics team to provide actionable insights that optimize EU-based Ford marketing strategies. You will drive data-driven approaches to enhance marketing effectiveness and return on investment (ROI) while assisting in the transition of analytics services to GDIA. Your role will involve identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reductions. To succeed in this position, you must possess strong leadership, technical skills, and excellent communication abilities to facilitate cross-functional collaboration with teams across Europe and North America. Your key responsibilities will include managing the smooth transition of media analytics from WPP to GDIA, ensuring a seamless handover, meeting deadlines, and addressing any potential risks. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop data-driven strategies, analyze data to optimize marketing efforts, and provide valuable insights through ad-hoc analyses. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing reports and visualizations to effectively communicate insights, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for media campaigns, and ensuring data accuracy and reliability in all reports and dashboards. As the Media Analytics Manager, you will also oversee data governance and quality, ensuring adherence to data quality standards and naming conventions while supporting the DPR project. Your role will involve team leadership and mentorship, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment for data analysts. Furthermore, you will engage in cross-functional collaboration with teams in Europe and North America to align marketing strategies and effectively communicate complex insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Additionally, you will play a key role in identifying and implementing data-driven strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's preferred) - 8-12 years of experience in marketing analytics - Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Tableau/Power BI - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Experience in leading teams, managing projects, and transitioning services is highly desirable - Familiarity with digital platforms such as Google Analytics and EU data privacy regulations (GDPR) is a plus, with automotive experience being preferred Skills: - Data manipulation and analysis - Experience with GCP, SQL, and other relational databases - Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Qlik Sense, or Looker - Vendor management and transition management skills - Strong collaboration and communication abilities,
