Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Market Research Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret data to help our company understand market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes. You will provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct market research studies using qualitative and quantitative methods such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, and secondary data analysis.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations that clearly communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviors.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align research findings with business objectives.
  • Use statistical tools and software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, Excel) to analyze data.
  • Assist in developing customer segmentation, market sizing, and forecasting models.
  • Support the evaluation of marketing campaigns and product launches through data analysis.
  • Maintain and update market research databases and tools.
  • Stay updated on the latest market research methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in market research, data analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with data analysis software and tools (Excel, SPSS, SAS, R, or similar).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience designing surveys and questionnaires is a plus.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) or certifications in market research.
  • Experience with digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of consumer behavior and marketing principles.
  • Experience in a specific industry (e.g., FMCG, healthcare, technology).
