Market Data Operations Analyst

• Provide consultancy services to internal stakeholders in relation to exchange data
• Liaise with clients, sources and internal business stakeholders providing guidance and working with internal applications and systems so that clients may receive the data in a timely fashion
• Respond and engage proactively with exchanges/sources regarding policies and rules and other ad hoc requests
• Track status of said approvals and update stakeholders regularly as to status of pending items
• Store all approvals in a centralized repository
• Produce high-quality Reporting outputs and contribute to client reporting
• Advise on Market Data pricing models, licensing obligations and non-standard product reviews
• Assess the impact of policy updates on existing client entitlements and take appropriate actions
• Conduct quality control of your work and apply effective practices to minimize errors
• Offer a value-add service across our firm s multiple business lines
• Provide a proactive, forward-facing, service orientated group with a clear understanding of the value of the corporate strategic assets ( the data ) of which we are in effect the custodians
• Implement a series of clearly defined best practices across all business lines and all product lines in order to support our global business in a timely, efficient compliant way
• Implement robust processes to support the sales cycle and the client on-boarding process while adhering to our core principals of source compliance consistency
• Special projects and tasks assigned

Knowledge and Experience

• College degree or equivalent industry experience
• Exhibits a proactive nature and approach to learning, problem identification and resolution
• Strong Microsoft Office skills; Excel and PowerPoint essential. Visio knowledge is preferred
• Thoroughness, attention to detail and the ability to think and work both independently and within a team environment
• Service oriented toward both internal and external clients
• Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills
• Good written, oral, and interpersonal skills
