Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Market Buyer based in Delhi. The Market Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality produce. The day-to-day tasks include negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors to secure the best prices and quality. The role also involves market analysis, understanding consumer demands, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in sourcing and purchasing produce and fruits & vegetables from delhi market.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Understanding of market trends and consumer demands
  • Excellent organizational and inventory management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Experience in the fruits & vegetables industry is a plus
