Manual Tester

• Perform manual and automated testing of Laravel-based applications and WordPress websites/plugins.
• Develop, document, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Identify, record, and track bugs, issues, and inconsistencies using tools like Jira, Trello, or similar.
• Verify front-end and back-end functionality, including APIs, database operations, and integrations.
• Test themes, plugins, and custom modules for WordPress to ensure compatibility and performance.
• Validate cross-browser and cross-device responsiveness. It includes MacOS, iOS, Windows, Linux compatibility check.
• Conduct regression testing, UAT, performance, and security testing as needed.
• Work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality software.
• Ensure adherence to QA standards and provide feedback for process improvements.
  

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Laravel framework testing (PHPUnit, Pest, Laravel Dusk).
• Experience testing WordPress core, plugins, and custom themes.
• Familiarity with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics (for debugging and verification).
• Knowledge of automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright preferred).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with performance and security testing tools (e.g., Lighthouse, OWASP ZAP).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
