Job Description

Job Title: Manual + Automation Tester

Experience:

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute
manual test cases
and
automation test scripts
.
Perform
functional, system, integration, regression, and performance testing
.
Analyze test results, identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
Automate test scenarios using tools such as
Squish, UFT, Cucumber Studio
, or similar.
Work on
test data automation
and validate structured formats such as
XML and JSON
.
Conduct
API testing
and integrate automated scripts with CI/CD pipelines as required.
Ensure high-quality deliverables by following software testing best practices and documentation standards.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) and work closely with cross-functional teams.
Use ALM tools, version control platforms, and performance testing tools effectively.

Required Skills & Experience

37 years of professional experience in
manual and automation testing
.
Strong scripting knowledge in
PowerShell, Shell, or Bash
.
Good hands-on experience with
Linux/Mac OS environments
.
Knowledge of working with
XML, JSON
, and test data management.
Expertise in automation tools such as
Squish, UFT, Cucumber Studio
, or equivalent.
Minimum
2 years of experience in API testing
and performance testing tools.
Proficiency in
GitLab, Perforce
, or other version control systems.
Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and capability to adapt to new tools/technologies.
