Purpose of the job:
The Senior Manager Sales will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and expanding the market presence for the company's electric vehicle (EV) portfolio. This role requires a strong sales leadership background, market analysis skills, and strategic planning to enhance revenue and market share.
Key Accountabilities/Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets.
Identify new business opportunities and drive sales in existing and new markets.
Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions to meet targets.
Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance brand visibility and lead generation.
2. Dealer & Channel Management:
Strengthen dealer relationships to enhance sales performance.
Identify and onboard new dealers in strategic locations.
Provide sales training and support to dealers to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Monitor dealer performance and suggest improvements for better results.
3.Key Account & Customer Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Address customer needs and ensure a superior buying experience.
Work closely with corporate and fleet customers to increase bulk sales.
4.Market Analysis & Business Development:
Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor strategies.
Analyze customer preferences and recommend product enhancements.
Provide insights on pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness.
5.Team Leadership & Development:
Lead and mentor a team of sales executives to drive performance.
Set sales targets and monitor achievements.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team capabilities.
6.Dealer & Secondary Network Expansion:
Scout for new dealers and expand the secondary network to enhance market penetration.
Develop strong relationships with dealers and distributors to boost sales performance.
Ensure effective dealer onboarding, training, and performance monitoring.
7.B2B Sales & Dealer Sales:
Focus on increasing B2B sales and establishing key partnerships with businesses.
Strengthen sales through normal dealers and drive volume sales.
Develop strategies to improve dealer profitability and engagement.
8.Retail, Inventory & Finance Management:
Oversee inventory planning and allocation to ensure stock availability at dealerships.
Collaborate with finance teams to optimize sales financing options for customers.
Monitor retail sales performance and implement corrective actions to achieve targets.
9.Logistics & Distribution:
Work with the logistics team to streamline vehicle distribution and delivery timelines.
Optimize supply chain operations to ensure seamless dealer support.
10.Dealer Management System & Enquiry Management:
Implement and manage dealer management systems to track performance and sales metrics.
Improve enquiry management processes to convert leads into successful sales.
11.Sales Training & Development:
Conduct training programs for the sales team and dealer staff to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
Keep the team updated on market trends, new product features, and competitive insights.
12.Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
Strengthen customer engagement and loyalty through targeted CRM initiatives.
Address customer concerns effectively to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
