Job Description

Role Overview: As a Managing Consultant in the Analytics team within the Advisors & Consulting Services group at Mastercard, you will play a crucial role in translating data into actionable insights for clients. Your responsibilities will include leading client engagements, developing analytics strategies, managing key client relationships, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. Additionally, you will lead a team to provide creative insights and recommendations while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Lead client engagements across various industries and problem statements - Develop analytics strategies and programs for large, regional, and global clients using data and technology solutions - Own key relationships with mid-level to senior client stakeholders, assessing client agenda, internal culture, and change readiness - Lead a team to deliver sound business recommendations and impactful client presentations - Provide analytical and day-to-day project delivery team leadership - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to scope projects, create solutions for clients, and enhance the firm's intellectual capital - Offer on-the-job training, coaching, and mentorship to junior consultants Qualifications Required: Basic Qualifications: - Undergraduate degree with experience in data and analytics, focusing on business intelligence and/or descriptive, predictive, or prescriptive analytics - Experience in coaching and managing teams across multiple projects - Proficiency in managing key client relationships and understanding business KPIs, financials, and organizational leadership - Ability to identify new business development opportunities, draft proposals, and scope new projects - Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills, including data analysis and synthesis - Experience with data analytics software (e.g., Python, R, SQL, SAS), database structures, and data visualization tools - Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment - Effective communication skills in English and the local office language - Eligibility to work in the country of application and apply for travel visas as needed Preferred Qualifications: - Additional experience in data analytics within the Hadoop framework and coding using Impala, Hive, or PySpark - Experience in generating new knowledge or innovative solutions for a firm - Industry expertise relevant to the role - Masters degree with specialization in advanced analytics, big data, or mathematical discipline (Note: Corporate Security Responsibility details have been omitted from the summary),
