Manager/Sr. Manager - Electrical Design

As an Electrical Design Engineer at Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd, your main responsibility will be to oversee all Electrical Design activities for ongoing and upcoming projects. You will be tasked with reviewing and verifying all Electrical Designs to ensure that they adhere to time, cost, and scope requirements. Your role will involve closely monitoring project deliverables and ensuring that they align with the company's strategic goals. Your day-to-day tasks will involve collaborating with Project consultants and the Engineering team to design Plant Electrical Equipment, Substations, and MRS. You will also be responsible for finalizing project specifications for Electrical Equipment and Switchgears according to the latest design standards. It will be crucial to track Engineering Deliverables, follow Project design best practices, and provide project design & consultancy based on the Basic Engineering Package. In addition to the above, you will be in charge of preparing and reviewing MTO (Material Take Off) List & BOQ (Bill of Quantity) to support Procurement activities. You will also oversee the creation of Equipment Manufacturing Drawings and GA Drawings. Throughout the project lifecycle, you will need to identify users" needs, conduct project review meetings, and address any issues that may arise. You will also play a key role in selecting Design consultants, assisting the construction team with On-field engineering challenges, and managing DCN (Design Change Notes) for the project. Lastly, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing As-Built drawings for the Project. To qualify for this role, you should possess a B.Tech Electrical degree and have at least 10+ years of relevant experience. Your expertise should include experience in Chemical/Petrochemical/Refinery Project designing and vendor development for Project consultancy/design. A strong background in project activities from grassroots level will be beneficial for this position.,
