Manager/Sr. Manager - Electrical Design

You will be responsible for all Electrical Design related activities for ongoing and upcoming projects at Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd. As the Manager/Sr. Manager, you will review and check all Electrical Designs, ensuring that projects are managed within the set time, cost, and scope without any deviation. Your role will involve tracking, monitoring, and controlling project deliverables to meet the company's strategic and operational objectives. Your major activities will include working with project consultants and the engineering team to design Plant Electrical Equipment, Substations, MRS, etc. You will be finalizing project specifications for Electrical Equipment, Switchgears, and cables according to the latest design standards. Additionally, you will monitor and track engineering deliverables, follow project design best practices, and provide consultancy based on the Basic Engineering Package. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing MTO (Material Take off) List & BOQ (Bill of Quantity) for the project to facilitate procurement activities. Furthermore, you will review Equipment Manufacturing Drawings, GA Drawings, and As-Built drawings for the project. You will be involved in project review meetings, identifying issues, planning countermeasures, and supporting the selection of design consultants. To be successful in this role, you should have a B.Tech Electrical degree with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in the field of Chemical/Petrochemical/Refinery Project designing. You should have experience in vendor development for project consultancy/design and managing project activities from grassroots level.
