You will be responsible for all Electrical Design related activities for ongoing and upcoming projects at Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd. As the Manager/Sr. Manager, you will review and check all Electrical Designs, ensuring that projects are managed within the set time, cost, and scope without any deviation. Your role will involve tracking, monitoring, and controlling project deliverables to meet the company's strategic and operational objectives. Your major activities will include working with project consultants and the engineering team to design Plant Electrical Equipment, Substations, MRS, etc. You will be finalizing project specifications for Electrical Equipment, Switchgears, and cables according to the latest design standards. Additionally, you will monitor and track engineering deliverables, follow project design best practices, and provide consultancy based on the Basic Engineering Package. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing MTO (Material Take off) List & BOQ (Bill of Quantity) for the project to facilitate procurement activities. Furthermore, you will review Equipment Manufacturing Drawings, GA Drawings, and As-Built drawings for the project. You will be involved in project review meetings, identifying issues, planning countermeasures, and supporting the selection of design consultants. To be successful in this role, you should have a B.Tech Electrical degree with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in the field of Chemical/Petrochemical/Refinery Project designing. You should have experience in vendor development for project consultancy/design and managing project activities from grassroots level. You should have experience in interpreting process PID & Project Specification. It is highly preferable to have AEI basic and detail engineering experience in the COMOS engineering platform. Familiarity with tools like Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) would be beneficial. You should be adept at preparing Instrument Index, Loop list, IO list, motor list, circuit diagram, and terminal plan. Additionally, you should possess sound knowledge of Sizing & Selection of various types of Automatic valves, Analysers, Flow measuring equipment, and other standard field instruments. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support for the preparation of technical specifications, offer review, technical evaluation, and approval of supplier documents & drawings. It is essential to consider the local requirements and regulations related to engineering and deliveries. You will be involved in defining control strategies, preparing logic diagrams, draft monitor displays, and control descriptions. Furthermore, you will be responsible for Instrumentation Installation supervision and providing support during start-up, commissioning, and process controls of the plant. Your responsibilities will involve finalizing project specifications for Mechanical Equipment & Piping, monitoring and tracking engineering deliverables, adhering to project design best practices, providing project design consultancy based on Basic Engineering Package, and monitoring project engineering progress and communicating relevant information to stakeholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing MTO (Material Take of) List & BOQ (Bill of Quantity), Equipment Manufacturing Drawings, and GA Drawings for procurement activities. You will also be assigned to manage projects from initial development, conduct project review meetings, identify issues, and plan countermeasures. Minimum Qualification required for this role is a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 9 years of experience in Chemical / Petrochemical / Refinery Project designing, vendor development for Project consultancy/design, and grassroots level project activities.,
