Job Description

As an Ethics and Compliance Senior Manager at Lilly India Affiliate, you will play a crucial role in integrating high performance with high integrity. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing Ethics and Compliance guidance on affiliate activities by collaborating with the E&C team and other affiliate functions. - Coordinating the implementation of Lilly's ethics and compliance program in India, including risk assessment, policies, communications, training, and monitoring to support affiliate risk management effectively. - Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with ethics and compliance objectives. - Guiding personnel in ethical decision-making based on policy interpretation, values, good judgment, and risk awareness, while driving clear business ownership of ethical considerations. - Developing a strong understanding of the local business environment, plans, and strategies to help colleagues and business partners account for and mitigate risks. - Implementing compliance communications and training to support ethics and compliance program needs and organizational change management goals. - Executing monitoring plans to address identified risk areas and driving corrective and preventive action plans. - Providing meaningful insights to affiliate leadership derived from monitoring and other activities. - Contributing to the development of corporate compliance policies and procedures that reflect the needs of the affiliate and implementing localized procedures. - Leveraging E&C data analytics and tools for insights to ensure timely and effective risk management. In terms of qualifications, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in any field. - Juris Doctorate or equivalent professional experience preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or ethics & compliance field in another industry. - Knowledge of the most used analytics tool for risk management. Your skills should include: - Flexibility and comfort in handling topics with ambiguity and complexity. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Professional maturity, confidentiality sensitivity, good judgment, and reasoning. - Solutions-oriented attitude, teamwork, and learning agility. - Ability to understand complex compliance/regulatory requirements and make them understandable to the business. - Ability to influence the business to own compliance decisions. - High resilience. As part of your professional development, you will: - Keep up to date on trainings for professional development. - Ensure completion of myPM objectives in line with the company's process. - Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Other role requirements include: - Potential for both domestic and international travel. - Field days may be required. - Legally allowed to work in India. - Incumbent must be based in Delhi.,
