Job Description

As a Finance Manager at Noise, you will be responsible for managing various financial aspects to ensure accurate recording, compliance with accounting standards, and efficient financial operations. Your key responsibilities will include: - **General Ledger Management**: - Maintain and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions. - Review and reconcile general ledger accounts regularly to identify any discrepancies. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. - **Inventory Management**: - Establish controls related to inventory, including computation of cost, inventory valuation, and maintaining hygiene standards. - **Charts of Account Management**: - Review and maintain the chart of accounts to meet the business needs. - Implement necessary changes to support new business initiatives and reporting requirements. - **Process Management**: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements. - Implement Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) across processes, ensuring monthly adherence and periodic audits. - **Financial Reporting**: - Prepare and review financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. - Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. - Coordinate with external auditors from Big Four firms for annual audits and regulatory compliance. - **Audit Coordination**: - Lead internal and statutory audits for the company. - Prepare audit schedules and documentation, address findings, and implement corrective actions. - **Taxation and Compliance**: - Possess a strong understanding of direct and indirect taxes. - Act as the primary point of contact for coordination with consultants and the department. - **Communication and Stakeholder Management**: - Demonstrate strong communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. - Engage with senior management, department heads, auditors, regulators, and tax authorities to convey financial information and address concerns. - **Continuous Learning and Adaptability**: - Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes affecting the finance function in India. - Adapt to evolving business environments and stakeholder expectations. To be the ideal candidate for this role at Noise, you should: - Be a qualified Chartered Accountant. - Have 4-5 years of experience, including prior experience in Big Four finance firms and corporate exposure. - Possess strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS/IGAAP) to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.,
