Manager Marketing / Assistant Manager - Marketing

Job Summary:

We are looking for a data-driven and performance-oriented Manager - Marketing / Assistant Manager - Marketing to plan and execute multi-channel campaigns that enhance brand visibility, drive student interest and generate measurable results. The role requires strong expertise in digital marketing, campaign analytics, and content strategy aligned with institutional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Development & Execution

  • Design and implement 360 marketing campaigns (online and offline) to support admissions, events and brand initiatives.
  • Deliver at least a 25% year-over-year (YoY) increase in lead generation and a 15% improvement in conversion rates from digital campaigns.
  • Coordinate institution-level promotional events annually, with clear post-event analytics.

Digital Marketing & Analytics

  • Manage end-to-end performance marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn), optimizing cost per lead (CPL) and targeting a minimum ROI of 3:1.
  • Improve organic traffic to the institutional website by 40% within 12 months through SEO and content strategy.
  • Grow social media following across platforms by at least 30% annually, with engagement rates exceeding 5% per post.
  • Run email marketing campaigns with a minimum 25% open rate and 10%+ click-through rate, using tools like Mailchimp or Zoho Campaigns.
  • Create and monitor dashboards via Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or Meta Business Suite to track KPIs weekly.

Content & Collateral Development

  • Ensure the production of 1520 high-quality creatives per month (static, video, carousel, and reels) aligned with campaigns.
  • Write, edit and manage content for the website, blogs and press releases to enhance online presence and search engine rankings.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with design, admissions, and academic teams to ensure message consistency and timely campaign execution.
  • Liaise with digital marketing agencies or external partners for creative execution and paid campaigns, ensuring SLA adherence.

Budget Management

  • Prepare and manage annual marketing budgets, ensuring campaigns stay within budget and all expenditures are justified by outcomes.
  • Track and report cost per acquisition (CPA) and customer journey metrics to inform future planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • MBA in Marketing or an equivalent post-graduate qualification with a focus on digital marketing.
  • Consistent academic performance of at least 75% (or equivalent) throughout the academic history, with no gap years.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience for AM and 6 years for Manager in digital marketing, preferably in education sectors with no break in service.
  • Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), Meta Blueprint, SEO, or HubSpot Digital Marketing are preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Performance marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, X Ads)
  • Analytics platforms (GA4, Looker Studio, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, SimilarWeb, Google Trends)
  • CRM & email tools (Zoho CRM, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Wati, DLT SMS automation, Meritto)
  • UI/UX and website platforms (WordPress, Wix, Figma, Elementor, Wireframing, User Flow optimization)
  • Design/video tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Strong copywriting, storytelling and brand-building skills.
  • Proven track record in A/B testing, lead nurturing, SEO (on-page & off-page), and Sales funnel creation.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines, multi-task effectively, and present data-backed insights to senior management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Notion and Airtable.
