The Opportunity Location: Remote Experience: 2 to 5 Role: Full-Time Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Oversee and manage a team of video producers, editors, and other creative professionals, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and high-quality video outputs. Strategy Vision: Own the video production strategy, aligning it with company goals, and drive content creation that resonates with US sports fans. Content Production: Lead the production of compelling video content, from concept development through to delivery, with a focus on short-form video. Performance Targets: Establish and manage performance metrics for video content, ensuring the team meets and exceeds deadlines and targets. Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends in sports video content, particularly in the short-video space, and drive innovation in formats and storytelling. Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (marketing, social media, and creative departments) to ensure consistency in messaging and content delivery. Requirements Proven experience leading video production teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge and passion for US sports, with the ability to translate that passion into engaging video content. Solid understanding of video scripting, editing, and storytelling techniques. Experience with short-form video production, particularly in scaling content across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a creative team. A track record of successfully driving video content strategies and achieving measurable performance goals. Familiarity with video editing software and digital video production processes is a plus.
