Job Description

The opportunity is for the tax team of one of the leading law firms of India. The focus will be on international tax, succession planning, M&A tax and below are the broad pointers of the role -

Research and analysis of tax provisions and tax jurisprudence to advise clients on various direct tax matters
Advising clients on international tax and transfer pricing
Advising on transaction tax aspects of various transactions including mergers and acquisitions, demergers, divestments and corporate/business structuring
Review and drafting of transactional documents with particular focus on taxation aspects
Conducting tax due diligence during M&A transactions
Advising HNIs on estate planning, succession planning in tax efficient manner

The candidate should be a CA and/ or lawyer from the M&A tax / PE/ VC tax team of a reputed accounting firm or law firm.
