Must Have

• Experience in

  managing

  a medical underwriting team for a

  US life insurer

• Knowledge of end to end medical underwriting guidelines for a US Life insurer will be preferred
• Handled teams with a minimum team size of 10 to 30 members
• Knowledge of reinsurance / financial underwriting / ability to handle new transitions will be an added advantage
• Preferably from a medical / pharma educational background

Responsibilities

• Communicating with clients, presenting dashboards, exploring opportunity areas for providing additional services, addressing their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with the services provided.
• Managing the operational workflow, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs, overseeing the team's performance and training needs
• Guiding and enhancing the knowledge of a team of associates and fostering a positive work environment.
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing data, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Identifying areas for improvement in processes, implementing changes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both team members and clients.
• Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and implement effective solutions.
