Manager Transportation Supply Chain

oles & Responsibilities:

- Network planning (Existing/New Lane)

- Cost effective Vehicle planning

- Line haul management for daily operations, handle route optimization along with load management

- Optimum utilisation of Vehicles.

- To coordinate with zonal teams and execute the various projects rolled out centrally.

- Line haul vendor performance monitoring & improvement.

- Track LH metrics to monitor network efficiency and enhance vendor performance to improve customer experience.

- Tracking drivers on ground

- Coordinating with outbound team to arrange quick pickups

- Ensuring POD management

- New Vendor hiring

- Analyse existing trucking versus required capacity, especially to support during surge in sale during major events

- Support contract management and contract compliance for existing and new routes.

- Support market research to source new vendor where there are performance issues and expansion.

- Circulating & monitoring performance through MIS reports

- Training the team towards reduction in In Transit Damage

Skills & Competencies

- Working knowledge of MS Office Utilities Excel, Power point, Word, Data analysis & interpretation

- SAP Knowledge is preferable

- Clear communication, interpersonal skills

- Geography knowledge

- Must have a customer first approach.

- Experience with translating business requirement into operational processes.
