Logistics Manager

About the role :

Ganesh Enterprises, a growing B2B dry fruits company from Kolkata, is hiring a Logistics Manager to manage transportation, dispatch, and warehouse operations. The role requires a proactive and dependable professional to handle daily logistics, supervise loading and deliveries, and coordinate smoothly with teams and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate Pan-India transportation and logistics operations for all shipments via road and rail.
• Negotiate transportation rates and contracts with logistics partners and ensure cost efficiency.
• Supervise loading, unloading, and dispatch activities at the store and ensure safe handling of goods.
• Oversee inventory management, goods receipt, and dispatch from store.
• Handle and maintain all logistics and dispatch data accurately on Zoho Sheets and related software.
• Handle local deliveries through hyper local delivery apps or bike riders.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain operations.
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Zoho Sheets, Excel, and basic reporting tools.
• Hands-on, reliable, and able to manage labour teams and vendors effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
