Manager, Technology Compliance

Role Overview: You will be a Technology Compliance Partner in Animal Health R&D IT responsible for reviewing and rewriting SDLC documents, providing Regulatory advice, and supporting product teams in implementing technology and process controls to meet policy and regulatory obligations. Key Responsibilities: - Engage with IT practitioners as a consultant for SDLC, Compliance Risk Profile, Digital SDLC, Good Documentation Practices, and IT Control Requirements Set - Provide Regulatory advice on GLP, GMP, GCP requirements - Support efforts to reduce SDLC documentation through automation - Advance Agile SDLC competency and drive good practices - Work as an SME on SDLC and IT compliance controls across product teams - Maintain a customer-centric focus on compliance and write/review SDLC documentation - Assist in Change Control information collection and impact changes for application releases - Ensure IT compliance with established policies/procedures and support audit/inspection readiness - Oversee policies, SOPs, and associated materials integration with other processes - Work within a matrix structure reporting to both functional and project managers Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Law, or related field - 3+ years of experience in technology compliance or risk management - Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations - Understanding and experience in SDLC, good engineering practice, and computer validation - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to communicate complex compliance issues to non-technical stakeholders - Meticulous attention to detail and understanding of relevant regulations and compliance standards - Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively Additional Company Details (if present): Our company, known as Merck & Co., Inc., has been inventing medicines and vaccines for challenging diseases for over a century.
