Manager - TBR Technology

As a Manager - TBR Technology at Apollo Tyres Ltd, your role is crucial in developing and controlling the tyre building, curing, and final finish plant-specific product specifications, process specifications, machine setup specifications, in-process standards, and inspection standards. Your responsibilities include ensuring product and process quality, initiating, validating, and controlling process changes, leading process and product quality improvements, and industrializing new equipment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and control specifications and standards for building, curing, and final finish processes. This includes product specifications, process specifications, machine setup specifications, in-process standards, and inspection standards. Conduct periodic reviews of process FMEA and control plans. Maintain specifications. - Overview and ensure product and process quality by monitoring and controlling the building process within specified norms. Enforce product quality standards. Lead process and product quality improvements in tyre building. - Industrialize new equipment by establishing processes in new machines, validating them, and conducting periodic revalidations. - Coordinate with corporate technology to industrialize new products and improve technical knowledge on product and process through continuous training for the manufacturing team. - Analyze field return tyres and take necessary corrective actions. Provide technology leadership in troubleshooting, process improvements, and efficiency enhancements in tyre building. Qualifications Required: - Knowledge in Rubber technology, Tyre Engineering, Tyre uniformity, balancing & runout, Heat Engineering / Tyre curing process, and Quality systems. - Skills in leadership, communication, presentation, analytical and troubleshooting, interpersonal skills, people management, and decision-making. In your 13 - 16 years of relevant experience, your B.Tech degree in Polymer/Rubber/Mechanical Engineering/Technology will be essential to excel in this role at Apollo Tyres Ltd.,
