Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manager - Taxation based in Barbil. The Manager - Taxation will be responsible for overseeing tax planning, ensuring compliance with tax laws, preparing accurate tax filings, and staying updated on current tax regulations. The role involves advising the organization on tax strategies, minimizing liabilities, and ensuring timely submissions to relevant authorities. The position requires a strong understanding of all aspects of taxation and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Tax Planning and strategies to optimize tax liabilities
• Strong expertise in Tax Compliance and preparation of accurate tax filings
• Knowledge of Tax Law i.e. GST TDS, TCS, Mining return and regulations, with the ability to stay updated on changes
• Experience in managing direct and indirect taxation processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Relevant professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, or equivalent
• Prior experience in the mining or metal industry is advantageous
