Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complete vehicle integration activities for electric buses and commercial vehicles.
- Coordinate with design, chassis, electrical, powertrain, and body teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Validate fitment of aggregates (battery, motor, controller, suspension, steering, braking, HVAC, etc.).
- Define and ensure adherence to packaging, ergonomics, and serviceability requirements.
- Manage prototype build, integration, and troubleshooting during development stages.
- Collaborate with suppliers, testing teams, and manufacturing to resolve integration issues.
- Support homologation, regulatory compliance, and customer-specific configuration requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in vehicle layout, weight optimization, and manufacturing feasibility.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, or related engineering discipline.
- 1015 years of experience in vehicle integration or product development (preferably EV / Bus / CV industry).
- Strong knowledge of CAD tools, GD&T, vehicle packaging, and system interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with prototype builds and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of homologation standards (AIS, CMVR, etc.).
