Manager / Sr. Manager - Liaison (Finance)

Job Title: Manager/Sr. Manager - Liaison

Key Responsibilities:

Liaisoning & Regulatory Coordination

• Act as the companys representative for all finance and accounting-related liaisoning with banks, excise/customs, GST, and other government authorities.
• Coordinate with Directorate of Industries, DGFT for renewals, clearances, and compliance related to manufacturing operations.
• Facilitate communication and follow-up with financial institutions for loan approvals, credit facilities, guarantees, and documentation.
• Liaise with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors for audit, compliance, and financial certifications.

Statutory Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Maintain up-to-date licenses and statutory registrations applicable to chemical manufacturing
• Prepare documentation for subsidies, incentives, and government schemes applicable to manufacturing units.
• Keep track of changes in tax laws, finance acts, and compliance requirements.

Internal Coordination & Reporting

• Collaborate with Plant teams, F&A, Supply Chain teams to ensure proper financial controls and documentation.
• Prepare periodic reports on liaisoning activities, compliance status, and pending issues for management review.
• Support internal audits and ensure timely resolution of audit observations.

• Sound understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Company Law provisions.
• Strong liaisoning and networking ability with external agencies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Qualification:

Nature of Experience:

• 10 to 15 years of experience in F & A and Regulatory Liaisoning in Chemical / Process / Manufacturing industries.
