Manager- Recruitment

Role Overview: As a Manager - Recruitment at SVKMs NMIMS Centre for Distance and Online Education (NCDOE) in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in attracting, selecting, and hiring top talent for both Teaching & Non-Teaching positions. Your main responsibility will be to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective recruitment while promoting diverse and inclusive hiring practices. You will be involved in developing recruitment strategies, managing the end-to-end recruitment process, sourcing and assessing candidates, ensuring compliance with policies, providing a positive candidate experience, and analyzing recruitment metrics. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with NCDOEs strategic goals to attract qualified candidates. - Oversee the entire recruitment process from job posting to joining, collaborating with hiring managers and the Central HR team. - Proactively source and identify potential candidates through various channels and assess their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit. - Ensure recruitment practices comply with university policies, employment laws, and regulations. - Provide a positive candidate experience by communicating effectively, keeping candidates informed, and promoting the employer brand. - Own the New Hire Assimilation process, prepare and implement induction plans for seamless joining experiences. - Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness of sourcing strategies and prepare regular reports and presentations. Qualification Required: - Excellent communication, presentation skills, problem-solving abilities, and ability to influence management. - Proficiency in MS Office - Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. - Good knowledge of HR-related metrics, stakeholder management, and applicant tracking systems. - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred). - 8 to 10 years of proven experience in recruitment, preferably in higher education or corporate sector, managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
