Manager-Quality Engineering

Role & responsibilities

• Establishment and management of QMS
• Coordination of Certification and Surveillance Audits for AS 9110C.
• Coordination of DGAQA Registration activities.
• Establishment and Execution of Quality Processes in Supply Chain Management.

Job Requirement :

• Responsible for Quality Audit and oversee Supply Chain Quality

• Responsible for QMS

• Fulfil the role of Management Representative (MR) for Quality Management, as required by AS 9110C and DGAQA.

• Establish, monitor and maintain QMS in compliance with AS 9110C, ISO 9001, IAI QMS and DGAQA Requirements.

• Coordinate QMS development activities between external consultant and all stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance to any applicable Quality and Safety Regulations as laid down by DGCA/CEMILAC.

• Works cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, engineering, contract and regulatory teams.

• Collaborate with external agencies including quality engineering, DGAQA, airworthiness authorities, AS certification bodies, suppliers etc.

• Perform product, process, and safety audits regularly.

• Prepare and execute Internal Audit plan for all Departments in accordance with QMS.

• Lead internal and external audits.

• Coordinate resolution of all Audit Observations/Non-Conformance with Department Heads.

• Manage approved vendor lists, evaluate and approve new suppliers.

• Track and report supplier performance through KPIs/defect rates, delivery metrics, etc.

• Conduct supplier audits and oversee corrective actions relating to supplied nonconforming products.

• Prepare reports on quality performance metrics, non-conformities, and audit results for management review

Candidate Profile

Minimum 04 years work experience in Quality Engineering activities in Aerospace production or Aviation MRO.

Experience in implementing and managing QMS in Aerospace firm or Aviation MRO. (Desirable but not Mandatory)

Experience in coordinating AS 9100 or AS 9110 Audits and Certification.

Experience in managing Quality aspects of Supply Chain Management in Aerospace firm or Aviation MRO.

Experience in UAV System Maintenance (Desirable but not Mandatory).

Knowledge/Skills Required:

1. In-depth understanding of ISO 9001, AS9100.

2. Knowledge of AS 9110 and AS 9120.

3. Knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements (DGCA/CEMILAC).

4. Proficiency in Supplier Evaluation and Quality Audit.

5. Proficiency in FMEA, root cause analysis, failure analysis, and continuous improvement techniques

6. Proficiency in Internal Audit procedures as per AS 9100/AS 9110/ISO 9001

7. Skilful in statistical analysis, data interpretation, and reporting actionable insights for corrective

8. actions.
