Manager - Quality Assurance & Technical Services

• Experience in the field of Quality Assurance and Technical services of flat rolled steel products line CRCA, Tin Plates, CRNO, CRGO, Stainless steel, HR Coils/Plates, HRPO, Galvanized & Pre-painted Galvanized Irons (Color Coated Steel).

• Responsible for attending to and resolving customer complaints in the Western Region of India by coordinating with the marketing and plant teams.

• New products, OEM customer development in coordination with sales & marketing team.

• Capturing customer requirements and ensuring the supply as per customer requirements.

• Nesting, planning and raw material order logging in system.

• Raw material tracking, SKU analysis, MIS preparation and production planning to meet the customer requirements on time.

• Ensuring and monitoring the production, dispatches as per customers schedule and requirements.

• Monthly stock reconciliation and helping mill for clearance on hold material.

• Assessment of new enquires and preparation of technical delivery conditions for auto OEMs as per plant capabilities.

• Actively participated as a Cross-Functional Team (CFT) member in the following areas

• Conducting root cause analysis, implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and preparing 8D reports for customers.

• Finalizing Technical Data Sheets (TDC)

• Leading the launch of new products in the southern region of India

• Making decisions on non-conforming products at the mill, based on severity and end application for the customer.

• Conducting internal audits at the Western Region Service Centre in Pune.

• Collecting and analyzing customer satisfaction feedback for southern region customers to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Management Representative of Quality Management System (QMS), ISO/TS16949.Experience as internal auditor of Integrated Management System (ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS18001).

• Hand on experience of QMS ISOTS/TS-16949 & core tools APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.

• Exposure to TQM-(DEMING Prize Assessment)

• Ensured the quality of all Incoming Raw Materials (HR Coils, Paint, Chemicals, Zinc) and Outgoing Products, i.e. PPGI,CR, GP/GI Coils and Sheets, Corrugated Sheets, Profiles, Color Coated Coils & Sheets, Coils & Sheets,

  etc.by ensuring various tests, measurements and visual inspection of product and deviations from specifications.

• Conducted online inspection on pickling, cold rolling mill, Galvanizing and color coating lines to ensure the customer requirements as per export material sales order for mandatory customer required SGS certification.

• Document Verification

Laboratory Testing :-

(2) Mechanical & Chemical Testing

Inspection :-

(1) Visual Inspection of Defects(Process/Raw Material)

(2) Dimensional Check

• Having the exposure in handling major OEM customers in White Goods, Indian Dealt with major OEMs MARUTI SUZUKI, SUZUKI MOTORS GUJARAT, HMSI, TATA MOTORS, M.G.MOTORS, VOLKESWAGEN, JCB, ESCORT, ACE, WHIRLPOOL, VOLTAS, LG etc. and vendors.
